Recent developments in the knowledge economy impact on archival profession globally. Key components of fourth industrial revolution (4IR), such as blockchain technology and artificial intelligence are influencing manner context which digital records organisations managed. This has necessitated University South Africa, a comprehensive open distance e-learning institution (CODeL), through Department Information Science, to evaluate recurriculate its postgraduate programme archives management.
